Summer Parking Permits for Students Available Beginning Monday, April 29

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 26, 2019) — Student summer parking permits will be available for purchase in the University of Kentucky Transportation Services’ main office beginning Monday, April 29.

The permits cost $9 per week and may be purchased for any number of weeks between May 6 and Aug. 9, 2019. Summer permits authorize students to park in most student lots over the summer, as well as the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), the Scott Street lots and the Sports Center Complex lots. Summer permits must be purchased in person at the main Transportation Services’ office, located in the Press Avenue Garage (PS #6) at the corner of Press and Virginia avenues.

Please note that even when lots are not controlled for permits, they are still monitored for other parking violations to include, but not limited to, parking in fire lanes, parking on yellow lines and unauthorized parking in ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible areas.
