(April 9, 2018) — The Student Activities Board brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. Each week, they offer exciting programs and events designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community. Kate Fagan
7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, Memorial Hall
Kate Fagan is a columnist and feature writer for espnW, ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine. She is also a regular panelist on ESPN's "Around the Horn" and can be seen on "Outside the Lines." Join Student Activies Board (SAB) and the Office of LGBTQ* Resources 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in Memorial Hall for a compelling Q&A where Kate Fagan will discuss her experiences on ESPN, her book "What Made Maddy Run," the pressures of perfectionism and the stressors impacting today’s college students. This is an event you do not want to miss!
Holi
6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, Woodland Glenn Courtyard
Come celebrate Holi: The Festival of Colors with SAB and the Indian Student Association from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the Woodland Glenn Courtyard. Join us for the arrival of spring in the traditional Indian way with a celebratory color throwing festival. Prepare to get serenaded by an array of colorful dyes accompanied by awesome music! The event features lots of colors, food, fun, free T-shirts and prizes.
