DanceBlue 2018 is Almost Here

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 14, 2018) — The DanceBlue 2018 marathon is this week! From 8 p.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday, more than 900 University of Kentucky students will fill the floor of Memorial Coliseum in pursuit of a cure for pediatric cancer.

While many dub the marathon day the “best day of the year,” this day is an amazing expression of DanceBlue’s motto: "For The Kids." The 24-hour dance marathon, which involves no sitting or sleeping, allows UK students to stand in solidarity with children and their families battling pediatric cancer.

Whether you’re a student, faculty, employee or just interested in seeing what DanceBlue is, you’re welcome to come by and watch from the stands at any point in the marathon.

Please enter Memorial Coliseum through the Lexington Avenue entrance. Visitors will be guided to general seating where you can view the marathon.
