Freshman Deadline Oct. 1 for Student Government

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 29, 2009) -- The deadline is approaching for University of Kentucky freshmen to complete an application to be involved in Student Government Senate.

Freshman senator applications are available on the Student Government Web site, www.uksga.org and in the SG office, 120 Student Center.

SG President Ryan Smith and SG Vice President Kelsey Hayes encouraged freshmen to get involved in UK Student Government now, early in their college career.

Applications are due by Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.
