LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 30, 2016) — It’s time to bring those creative ideas to life. Join Student Activities Board (SAB) in the basement of the William T. Young Library in The Hub on tonight from 6 - 9 p.m. to make something cute, chic and cozy for the winter. Students bring the ideas and SAB will bring the supplies.
Pinterest Parties are designed to give the campus community the chance to create do-it-yourself crafts seen on the social media site, Pinterest. The Campus Life Committee takes the site’s tagline, “Less Pinning. More Doing" and turns it into a reality for UK students, staff and faculty. This party’s themes are DIY and winter weather.
“This is our final Pinterest Party of the semester and it's going to be amazing,” said Miranda Scott, director of Campus Life. “The holiday season is coming (and so are finals), so there is no better way to de-stress before winter break! We'll be making tons of winter crafts and it will be so much fun!”
SAB brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
