Imagine, Picture Diversity at UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 7, 2017) — Imagine diversity at the University of Kentucky. Take a picture, and perhaps win cash.

The UK Center for Equality and Social Justice invites UK students to submit an original photo that captures and celebrates diversity on campus. A total of $500 in cash prizes has been set aside for the top five photos.

The goals of the contest are to:

1) Foster an environment that supports and celebrates diversity.

2) Increase the visibility of diverse students and groups on campus.

3) Remind the campus  that we are ALL members of the UK community.

Entering a photo before the March 27 deadline is easy. First, follow the Center for Equality and Social Justice (@UKCESJ) on Facebook or Twitter. Post your photo to the Facebook or Twitter accounts and tag the Center for Equality and Social Justice. Use the hashtags #UKCESJ and #DiverseUK.

Multiple entries per person are encouraged, but only one prize per person. You must be a registered UK student to enter the contest.

Winners will be announced at a special event in April.
