LGBTQ* Resources, Center for Graduate and Professional Diversity Initiatives to Host Welcome Mixer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 31, 2017) — The University of Kentucky Office of LGBTQ* Resources and the UK Center for Graduate and Professional Diversity Initiatives (CGD) will host a LGBTQ* welcome back event for UK graduate and professional students.

The OUTGrads Welcome Mixer will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Chatham's Bistro & Bar, located at 496 East High St.

The OUTGrads collaboration serves to provide a space for networking and community building among UK LGBTQ* graduate and professional students across the different colleges and program. The departments will also co-host an OUTGrads discussion in late October centered on being out in graduate school.
