LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 7, 2017) -- Are you a University of Kentucky student looking for a part-time job to make ends meet this semester?
The University of Kentucky Career Center, in partnership with the UK Human Resources Student Employment program, hosts the Part-time Jobs Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, Sept. 14, on the first floor of the White Hall Classroom Building.
During this event, students may connect with more than 40 local employers looking to fill part-time positions and internships. Attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire and bring copies of their resume.
The AppleCare College program is new to the fair this year. UK has just been added as the 33rd university from which Apple recruits. People at Apple have reinvented entire industries with the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, as well as with services including iTunes, the App Store, Apple Music, and Apple Pay.
UK is the University for Kentucky. At UK, we are educating more students, treating more patients with complex illnesses and conducting more research and service than at any time in our 150-year history.
