Cheap Seats This Month

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 3, 2009) – Cheap Seats, brought to you by the Student Activities Board, is a great way for students to see movies not yet released to DVD for only one dollar. 

In November, students will have the opportunity to view three summer blockbusters:

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" – The sixth movie in the series based on the extremely popular books by J.K Rowling. The movie focuses on Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft.  This will be a TallyCat event.   Proceeds from both showings will benefit DanceBlue and the Golden Matrix fund.  Shows at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 and Wednesday, Nov. 4.

"Funny People" –  The movie revolves around two comedians, George (Adam Sandler) and Ira (Seth Rogen), who seem to learn a lot from one another.  Shows at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

"The Hangover" – This hilarious blockbuster hit is a story of a bachelor party in Las Vegas that leads to many crazy adventures the day after.  Shows at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 18.
