LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2, 2016)  Experience art that matters with a trip to Cincinnati with Student Activities Board and the Cultural Art Committee to see the matinee performance of "The Book of Mormon," a Broadway production, 1 p.m. Sunday, April 3.

“Culture Arts is aiming to provide access to an art form not easily found in the Lexington area,” stated Taylor Hamilton, SAB director of cultural arts. “This event serves to entertain campus with the magic of Broadway in a way for all to enjoy. This year we hope to attract different audiences to our event by taking a trip to see 'The Book of Mormon.'”

"The Book of Mormon" is a religious satire by the creators of South Park. Those who attend can enjoy dry humor and experience the wonders of stage acting. Transportation will leave campus 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 3, from the wildcat statue located across from Memorial Coliseum, and will return at 6 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased starting today at the Student Involvement Ticket Office in Bowman’s Den and are $25 for students and $50 for faculty, staff and general public. The price includes the ticket, transportation to the show and a box lunch on the way to the event.
