Learning Your Legal Rights with Shea Chaney
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 15, 2012) — The University of Kentucky Student Government Association presents attorney Shea Chaney who will be sharing legal advice and informing students of their legal rights at an open forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the UK Student Center’s Center Theater.
Do you have landlord issues you would like advice on? Have you ever been approached by the police, and were unsure of your rights? The forum will explore these and more issues.
Michael Shea Chaney, a UK alumnus and local Lexington attorney, provides free on-site consultations for any legal issue as part of SGA’s Student Legal Service. All of your information is confidential and your privacy is maintained throughout the entire process. Student Government celebrates its 5th year with this program this fall.
