New Internships Available to UK Students
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 26, 2012) — UK Student Government Association’s Wildcat Interest Group has announced four additions to the student internship program for spring and summer 2013. Interested students should complete a topical application sheet and submit all information by 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, to the SGA office, 120 Student Center. The brief application requires only basic information and an updated resume. Student Government staff will screen applications and award interviews, set for 4–6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, through Friday, Nov. 9, in the Office of the President, 101 Main Building.

Students interested in an internship in the Office of the Auditor should complete the application sheet at uksga.org/uncategorized/wig-frankfort-internships.
The internship requires a student work Tuesdays and Thursdays during spring 2013 in the Office of the Auditor in Frankfort, Ky. All full-time students at the University of Kentucky are eligible to apply. The selected student may apply for PS 399 "Internship in Government" academic credit through the College of Arts and Science’s Department of Political Science or equivalent credit within his/her college of study. Internship award includes a $400 travel stipend provided by SGA.

Office of Attorney General – Jack Conway
Students interested in a summer 2013 internship in the Office of the Attorney General should complete an application sheet at uksga.org/uncategorized/wig-frankfort-internships.
The internship requires a student work three days per week from mid-May to early August, during summer 2013, in the Office of the Attorney General in Frankfort, Ky. Only rising second-year law students at the University of Kentucky College of Law are eligible to apply. Internship award includes a $2,200 stipend provided by Student Government.
