Student Organization Registration Now Open

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 9, 2012) — Registration for student organizations for the 2012-2013 academic year is now open. Details for the process can be found at http://getinvolved.uky.edu/register.

The first step is for a student officer to attend an orientation session, and these sessions will be held in the Center for Student Involvement,106 Student Center. The next sessions are:

• 3 p.m., today, Monday, April 9
• 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 10
• 11 a.m., Thursday, April 12
• 10 a.m., Friday, April 13

All groups must re-register annually to enjoy the benefits that are offered to student organizations. These include free graphic design services, free room reservations (most locations on campus), discounts on T-shirt/apparel orders, funding support from Student Government, etc. (Note: most benefits are only offered during the fall and spring semesters.)
