This Week With SAB: Oct. 2-6

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 2, 2017) — Student Activities Board (SAB) brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.

Royalty Showcase

7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, Memorial Hall

The Homecoming Royalty Showcase is an opportunity for students at the University of Kentucky who "see blue. in everything they do" to show the campus community exactly who they are as a student and a person! Come out Tuesday, Oct. 3rd, to Memorial Hall to join SAB and the Homecoming Coalition recognize a select group of student leaders for their achievements and outstanding character. Homecoming Royalty is a great chance to see students of various backgrounds representing their respective organizations.  

Homecoming Street Fair

5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, Wildcat Alumni Plaza and Bowman’s Den Lawn

SAB and STAT/Team Wildcat will host the fourth annual Homecoming Street Fair on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the area surrounding Wildcat Alumni Plaza and Bowman’s Den Lawn from 5 to 8 pm. Kick start your homecoming weekend with one of campus’ favorite homecoming traditions! Come out and enjoy tunes by DJ Warren Peace, inflatables, free food, games, entertainment and so much more as the campus rallies together to cheer on our favorite "boys in blue" on Saturday.

Chair Selections

SAB wants YOU! That’s right, YOU. The Student Activities Board is currently seeking students to serve the board and the campus community as committee chairs. Each committee within the board has a hosts of chairs that assist in the development and execution of all of our great events. This is an amazing way to get involved on campus and establish yourself as a student leader. Rolling applications are now live at SAB rocks and so do you!
