18 UK students win at the American Advertising Awards

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2024) — On Feb. 23, Ad Club Lexington hosted its annual American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising. At the awards ceremony, a total of 18 University of Kentucky students were awarded with either a Gold or Silver ADDY for their group or individual student work.

Similar to the industry professional competition, the student division allows college students at universities across the nation to enter their creative work at the local level to advance to regional and national levels.

The 13 students who won ADDYs for the Indeed “It’s The Start” Campaign were part of the 2023 National Student Advertising Competition team, that placed in the top 10 of the national competition last year.
