Attend the 2025 Spring Involvement Fair
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 15, 2025) — The University of Kentucky Student Organizations and Activities (SOA), housed in the Office for Student Success, will host its annual Spring Involvement Fair, noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Gatton Student Center Grand Ballroom. The fair gives students a chance to learn about new and exciting opportunities on campus.
Involvement is a great way for students to find their community on campus, but getting involved looks different for everyone on our campus. For some students, getting involved might include opportunities like joining a student organization, attending an event, participating in community service or joining a research project. Fortunately, the university offers a number of opportunities, like the Involvement Fair, to help students figure out the right kind of involvement and engagement for them.
During the fair, each student organization will have a booth staffed by its members, who are available to discuss the missions of their respective student organizations, their goals and answer any questions prospective members may have. Involvement advisors will also be in attendance at the event for guidance and support.
By attending the fair students can:
Connect with student organizations. Dozens of student organizations will be at the Involvement Fair. Walk through the Gatton Student Center Ballroom and check out what organizations are up to this semester.
Discover new interests. With more than 600 registered student organizations at UK, there are a variety of interests waiting for you to explore. Be open to new opportunities.
Define involvement for you. Getting involved looks different for every person on our campus. The involvement fair introduces some of the many ways to get involved. Chat with involvement advisors to learn about additional opportunities.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
