Celebrate love in Lexington, Valentine’s Day events at UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 10, 2025) — This Valentine’s Day, students, staff and faculty have a variety of ways to celebrate the season of love — whether you’re single, in a relationship or just looking to spend time with friends. From crafting workshops to romantic dinners, UK’s campus has something for everyone.

Here’s your guide to the Valentine’s Day events happening around campus.

  • Valentine’s Day in the Center — Visit the Center for Student Involvement to enjoy Valentine’s Day crafts and activities. Free candy and treats will be available while supplies last. This event is open to all students.

  • Mocktail Monday with POWER — Enjoy fun, food, friends and mocktails at The Learning Bar.

  • Jazzy Valentine's Concert — UK Jazz Ensemble and UK Lab Band present the annual Jazzy Valentine's Day concert, Feb. 12. Tickets are available online; adult tickets are $14 and student tickets are $7.

  • Valentine’s Flower Workshop — Celebrate the season of love at Valentine’s Flower Workshop, hosted in collaboration with POWER, by designing your own free flower arrangement to gift a friend, partner or even yourself.

  • Valentine’s Challenge — Grab your bestie, partner or roommate and compete in this exciting game show-style event inspired by the Newlywed Game.

  • UK Symphony Orchestra — The UK Symphony presents an evening of music from the Romantic period, Feb. 14. Tickets are available online; adult tickets are $20 and student tickets are $10.
