Finalize Commencement needs at Grad Salute Oct. 23-24

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 16, 2024) — The University of Kentucky Alumni Association invites all December 2024 graduates to participate in Grad Salute, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 23-24 in the Gatton Student Center Grand Ballroom.

The December 2024 UK Commencement ceremonies will be Dec. 20, at Rupp Arena at the Central Bank Center.

At Grad Salute, graduates can take care of all their UK Commencement needs in one convenient location. Alumni Association staff will assist students with the following:

  • Custom cap, gown and tassel orders: Get the perfect fit with assistance.
  • Graduation records verification: Ensure there are no holds or issues that could delay graduation.
  • Career preparation: Receive valuable advice and explore job opportunities.
  • Commencement registration: Sign up to attend the commencement ceremony.
  • General information: Find answers to any questions about the graduation process.
  • Student loan management: Get guidance on handling student loans.
  • Class ring orders: Purchase an official University of Kentucky class ring.
  • Diploma frames: Display a UK diploma proudly.
  • Personalized graduation announcements: Graduates can share their achievements with friends and family.
  • UK Alumni Association membership: Become an active member with a $25 donation to a fund of choice.
  • Commemorative paver: Order a Wildcat Alumni Plaza paver to mark this milestone.

Registering for Grad Salute in advance is encouraged to ensure a smooth process for all participants. Additionally, students who register for Grad Salute will be eligible to win a prize. Those unable to attend in person can visit www.ukalumni.net/gradsalute for their commencement needs.
