Alex Meyer Selected in First Round by Nationals
One of the most decorated performers in Kentucky baseball history, junior right-handed pitcher Alex Meyer has been selected with the No. 23 overall pick in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals, it was announced by MLB Commissioner Bud Selig on Monday night at the MLB Network Studio 42.
