Five UK Divers Place in Top 12 to Open Georgia Diving Invite
Five University of Kentucky divers advanced to the finals and placed in the top 12 in two events on the opening day of the Georgia Diving Invitational in Athens, Ga., Friday. Junior Christa Cabot and senior John Fox both placed eighth in the finals of the women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter, respectively, to lead the Wildcats. Cabot scored a 270.45 in the finals after a 283.65 in the prelims, while Fox scored a 333.95 in the finals and a 336.45 in the prelims.
