A total of 22 former Kentucky stars played affiliated minor league baseball or Major League Baseball in 2014, with Collin Cowgill, Logan Darnell, Scott Downs, Chris Rusin and James Paxton each playing in the big leagues. With four left-handed pitchers in the big leagues in 2014, UK had the most lefties of any school in the nation in MLB.
