UK Gymnastics Reveals Home Schedule

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky gymnastics has set its home schedule for the 2017 season, going toe-to-toe with some of the best programs that collegiate gymnastics has to offer. The Wildcats are set to host five meets with seven opponents on display over the course of next winter and spring. In addition to the release of the home schedule, for the first time in recent history Kentucky gymnastics will begin selling and renewing season tickets beginning on August 8. Season tickets are available for just $15. Fans who purchase or renew season tickets before the end of August will be entered for the chance to win a meet and greet with this year’s special guest at Excite Night, who will be revealed later this year. Renewal deadline for current season ticket holders is Oct. 7, 2016. Single-meet tickets will go on sale later this fall.  The Wildcats’ home slate features three teams who qualified for the NCAA National Championships last season. UK opens on Excite Night, Friday, Jan. 20 against the Auburn Tigers. The meet is followed up by LSU coming to town on Jan. 27 and Alabama on Feb. 10. Kentucky then takes a two-week home hiatus before hosting its first quad meet since the 2014 season, welcoming Washington, Illinois and Northern Illinois to Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 24. The Cats’ home schedule concludes on Mar. 3, when UK and Arkansas square off for the final home meet of the 2017 campaign. All home meets are set to begin at 7 p.m. ET in Memorial Coliseum, yet start times are subject to change.
