Historic Season Ends in Heartbreaking Loss
A story-book season ended in a heartbreaking loss for the Kentucky softball team on a steamy afternoon at the UK Softball Complex. In front of 1,690 proud Big Blue fans, the 2011 edition of the UK softball team dropped a 9-0 effort to seventh-seeded California for the right to advance to the Women's College World Series.
