Season Ends With 3-1 Loss to MSU in NCAA Second Round
The University of Kentucky's season came to a close with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 20-25) loss to Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament's second round Sunday afternoon in Memorial Coliseum. The Wildcats (22-9), making their ninth-straight NCAA appearance and seeded 15th in the tournament, battled the Spartans (23-11) in an entertaining, back-and-forth battle for a berth in next weekend's NCAA Regional, hosted by UK in Memorial Coliseum.
