Alumni Sprint for Scholarships April 15

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2017) ― Do you like to run? Do you want to help raise money for scholarships? Join the University of Kentucky Alumni Association on Saturday, April 15, for the second annual Sprint for Scholarships 5K at The Arboretum on the UK campus.

The race, which is open to the public, begins 9 a.m. The entry fee is $20 for students and $25 for preregistered runners who register by the early bird deadline of April 7. The price for all participants is $30 after April 7. The cost includes a bib with timing chip and a T-shirt. T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by the April 7 deadline. Participants may run or walk. Walkup registration begins at 7:30 a.m. the day of the race, April 15.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Proceeds from the event benefit the UK Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to incoming freshmen.
