Enjoy Fine Dining With Philharmonic Concerts

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 8, 2017) — On Feb. 10, the Hilary J. Boone Center and the Lexington Philharmonic present an evening of fine dining and the arts.

Before the orchestra’s presentation of “Carmen” at 7:30 p.m. at the Singletary Center for the Arts, the Boone Center offers a culinary indulgence at 5 p.m.

The meal features lobster bisque; Valencian kale salad with blood oranges, pine nuts, roasted bell peppers, golden raisins and blood orange balsamic dressing; oysters on the half shell with spicy cocktail, pink peppercorn mignonette, saltines and lemon; chicken saltimbocca with sage and cremini mushroom cream sauce, miso salmon with Fresno chiles, ginger and enoki mushrooms; mushroom and truffle risotto; fried forbidden rice with roasted garlic and cashews; stir-fried broccoli and bok choy; ratatouille with fresh rosemary and capers; chocolate covered fruits and a romantic dessert display.

The Lexington Philharmonic and the Boone Center will pair for another duet on Feb. 24 and 26 to accompany the UK Opera Theatre's production of “The Barber of Seville.” The Boone Center offers a buffet dinner Feb. 24 and a buffet brunch Feb. 26. Reservations must be made by Feb. 22 at 859-257-1133.
