UK Alumni Association to host Member Appreciation Week
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 16, 2026) — The UK Alumni Association will celebrate Member Appreciation Week, Feb. 15-21, held in conjunction with University of Kentucky Founders Day Feb. 22.
Throughout the week, Members (those who have completed at least 12 credit hours at UK), Active Members and Life Members can enjoy a range of activities and exclusive perks, including a chance to register for the UK Men’s Basketball Package Sweepstakes.
The package includes:
- Two lower arena tickets to a UK men’s basketball game of the winner’s choice during the 2026-27 season;
- a basketball signed by head coach Mark Pope;
- a $250 Tony’s of Lexington gift card;
- a Kyle Cavan Go Big Blue necklace; and
- UK gear
Members can register online to enter the sweepstakes drawing and earn additional entries by checking their email and following the UK Alumni Association on social media.
The winner will be notified Feb. 20.

Monday, Feb. 16
- Discount Day: Gear up with exclusive savings at the UK Alumni Gear Pop-Up Shop, Shady Rays, M. LaHart, Plushible and the UK Bookstore. Members will receive a promotional code and further details via email.
- Digital Game Series: Play Cat Catch for a chance to win a prize and earn points toward the grand prize and title of Game Series Champion. Details will be emailed to those eligible.
- Digital Download: Download a UK campus art print featuring Historic Memorial Coliseum, created by UK alum Katie Morrison of Katlyn Ann Art.
Tuesday, Feb. 17

Who is a Member?
- Members: Anyone who has completed at least 12 credit hours at UK.
- Active Members: Those who have given $75 or more cumulatively to any UK fund annually.
- Life Members: Those who have purchased a Life Membership.
- Student Alumni Association (SAA) Members: UK students who have given $25 or more cumulatively to any UK fund annually.
- Recent Graduate Active Members: Those who completed their first UK degree within the past five years and have given $25 or more cumulatively to any UK fund annually.
