UK fans invited to NCAA Tournament pregame fun in Pittsburgh

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 19, 2024) — The University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball team is dancing in Pittsburgh! Join the UK Alumni Association for a pregame party and pep rally from 4-6 p.m. EDT Thursday, March 21, at Café Fifth, 818 Fifth Avenue, before the Wildcats take on the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The event is free and open to the public. UK swag will be available while supplies last with food and drinks available for purchase.

Tournament games will take place at PPG Paints Arena, 1001 Fifth Ave. No. 3 Kentucky tips off against No. 14 Oakland at 7:10 p.m. EDT on Thursday, March 21.

Tickets for first and second round games in Pittsburgh may be purchased at NCAA.com/MBBTickets. Fans can find comprehensive ticket information for all NCAA tournament sites, including information on the NCAA Ticket Exchange, the official secondary marketplace for authentic NCAA Tournament tickets, here.

If you don’t have tickets to the game, stick around at Café Fifth to catch all the tournament action with fellow Wildcat fans.  

Should the Wildcats advance to the second round on Saturday, March 23, Café Fifth will again serve as the UK Alumni Association’s pregame headquarters.
