Calipari and Papa John's Donate to KCH

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2009) – University of Kentucky Men's Basketball Coach John Calipari and Papa John's President Jude Thompson donated $50,000 recently to Kentucky Children's Hospital.      

Thompson presented the check to Dr. Tim Bricker, professor and chairman of pediatrics, UK College of Medicine, and physician-in-chief of Kentucky Children's Hospital.

Last month, a donation of $5,000 was given to Kentucky Children's Hospital on behalf of the Calipari Family Foundation for Children during the "Bounce Back" kick off book tour at the Fayette County UK Alumni Club. The presentation was given by Calipari on behalf of the Calipari Family Foundation for Children to Bricker.

 "We are so appreciative of Coach Cal for contributing to the best in care for children at the Kentucky Children's Hospital as well as all the things he is doing for the UK basketball program," said Bricker.
