Contemporary Pediatrics Conference Held

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 9, 2010) − The Kentucky Children’s Hospital's annual Contemporary Pediatrics Conference began April 8, and continues through Saturday, April 10, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington.

The conference is designed for pediatricians, pediatric specialists, family medicine physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners, family medicine nurse practitioners, physicians in resident training, nurses and physician assistants.

"The Kentucky Children's Hospital Contemporary Pediatrics Conference provides current information on a variety of medical and surgical conditions affecting infants, children and adolescents," said Dr. Kim Northrip, planning committee chair and assistant professor of pediatrics, University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and a pediatrician at Kentucky Children's Hospital. "The outstanding faculty from Kentucky Children's Hospital will offer presentations and concurrent sessions on diverse topics."
