Golf Tournament Benefits Kentucky Children's Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 2, 2010)The 12th Annual Fun Day Golf Tournament will be held Monday, June 21, at the University Club of Kentucky, Leestown Road, Lexington. The tournament benefits the Kentucky Children's Hospital through the Makenna Foundation. Proceeds are designated for the new Makenna David Pediatric Emergency Center.

The tournament is sponsored by Courtesy Pontiac-Acura. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m. in the "Best Ball" scramble format. Dinner, awards and prizes will immediately follow.

“All 120 counties in Kentucky are served by the Kentucky Children’s Hospital," said Sheila David, executive director of The Makenna Foundation. "Children deserve the best facility that we as a community can possibly provide."

We are grateful for our new Makenna David Pediatric Emergency Center. After all, kids are our priority."
