Pageant Queens, Contestants Visit KCH

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July  20, 2010) –Young patients at Kentucky Children's Hospital had visits from Miss Kentucky Mallory Ervin, Miss America Caressa Cameron, Miss Teen Kentucky Laura Jones, and the 2010 Miss Kentucky pageant contestants.

The children enjoyed making crafts with the young women as well as listening to Miss Kentucky and Miss America who sang for them.

“We so appreciate their visits," said Aimee’ Baston, manager of annual giving, Kentucky Children’s Hospital Office of Development. "They are not only great ambassadors for Kentucky Children’s Hospital, but they also come and lift the spirits of our patients and families by visiting and spending time at the hospital. As leaders in the community, they also fundraise on our behalf. We can’t thank them enough for their wonderful partnership with us.”
