Tee It Up for Kentucky Children's Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 14, 2010) – Kentucky Children’s Hospital corporate partners will host a golf tournament on Tuesday, May 25, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., at the Marriott Griffin Gate Golf Club in Lexington.

The golf tournament will feature University of Kentucky Football Coach Joker Phillips as well as many others.

"We are so grateful to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital corporate partners for their hard work on this event and other projects that help the children’s hospital," said Jim Richardson, vice-chair, Kentucky Children’s Hospital Development Council.

"I especially want to thank the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort for providing such a lovely place to hold this outing as well as Wal-Mart, Dairy Queen, Golden Corral and Rite Aid for their leadership and participation.”

Sponsorship opportunities available include:

$2,500 – Tee It Up Sponsors – Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive or Skirt Sponsor

– Four-player team (includes greens fees, cart, lunch, reception and beverages)

– Recognition on premier sponsor sign

– ¼ page ad in event program

– Sponsor to provide 2 awards (Minimum value $50 for male and female winners)

$1,250 – Four-player team  (includes greens fees, cart, lunch, reception and beverages)

 – Recognition on event signage

– Special thanks in event program

Funds raised will enhance and expand services, patient care and research provided to more than 70,000 children annually at Kentucky Children's Hospital. A portion of each sponsorship is tax-deductible.
