Markey Cancer Center valet parking unavailable Aug. 11-15

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 7, 2025) — Valet parking at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center will be temporarily unavailable Aug. 11-15 due to an equipment update at the center’s radiation medicine clinic.
Patients with outpatient appointments can use free self-parking in the Whitney-Hendrickson lot or park in the Transcript Avenue or Kentucky Clinic parking garages. All parking at these locations is free.
The UK HealthCare parking garage at 110 Transcript Ave. provides shuttle service to the UK Markey Cancer Center, and the Kentucky Clinic parking garage at 140 Huguelet Ave. is within walking distance of the cancer center.
Markey Cancer Center launched its complimentary valet parking service in April 2024 for patients with outpatient appointments. The service operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the main entrance of the Ben F. Roach Cancer Care Facility at 800 Rose St.
