UK DME now accepting Medicare and Medicaid; CPAP and BiPAP devices available

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 3, 2023) - UK DME, the durable medical equipment service from UK Retail Pharmacies, is now able to accept Medicare and Medicaid, in addition to most commercial insurance plans.

The service is also now offering CPAP and BiPAP devices, and replacement supplies for these devices are coming soon. The supply replenishment will be available through in-store pick up and/or direct shipment to the patient. 

UK DME, which opened in May, already offers an extensive list of mobility items such as canes, wheelchairs and walkers. As well as bath aids, cushions, braces and more. More products are being added regularly, and many additional products can be ordered at a patient’s request.

DME products are available by prescription or over the counter.

The UK DME Store is located inside the Kentucky Clinic on the first floor just behind the main information desk. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some products are also available at UK Retail Pharmacy locations. The service is open to everyone, including UK HealthCare patients, staff and the public.
