UK HealthCare Begins Branding Campaign Touting High-Quality Specialty Care Found Only at UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 10, 2012) – UK HealthCare has kicked off a new branding campaign that highlights the healthcare enterprise’s commitment to providing the highest quality advanced specialty and subspecialty care in the region.

A new TV ad -- shown below -- is among a number of branding communications being unveiled this week that provide information about the complex specialty care found at UK HealthCare. The campaign’s tag line – “That’s Why We’re Here” – communicates about the types of specialty and complex care found only at the University of Kentucky.

“Our goal has long been for Kentuckians to know, no matter where in the state they live or how complex their health challenge is, that they can wake up, comfortable in the fact that they can receive the best of care at UK HealthCare,” said Bill Gombeski, director of strategic marketing for UK HealthCare. “Such care is, indeed, why we’re here. This campaign seeks to inform patients and Kentuckians about the variety of treatment options available only at an academic medical and research center like the University of Kentucky.”
