UK School of Music-Arts in HealthCare Series Begins Feb. 14

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 14, 2017) – In collaboration with the University of Kentucky School of Music, UK Arts in HealthCare will hold a performance series to give students and faculty a chance to share their talents with patients, visitors and staff at UK HealthCare.

Performances can be heard at 1 p.m. in the Pavilion A Atrium Lobby of the Albert B. Chandler Hospital. The schedule of performances is below.

Tuesday, Feb. 14: UK Opera Theatre, performing a preview of "The Barber of Seville"

Tuesday, Feb. 28: UK Faculty Brass Quintet, performing classical chamber music

Sunday, March 26: UK Harp Ensemble

Thursday, March 30: UK Saxophone Quartets I & II

Tuesday, April 4: UK Oboe Studio, performing music by Beethoven, Mozart, Billy Joel, and more

Tuesday, April 25: UK Flute Studio, performing solos and chamber music
