UK Turfland Retail Pharmacy Opens New, Larger Location

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 18, 2020) – The new, larger location of UK Turfland Retail Pharmacy is now open.

The pharmacy is still located within the UK HealthCare at Turfland outpatient services center at 2195 Harrodsburg Road, but now lives in a brand-new space just behind the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center. Patrons can enter through the Barnstable Brown entrance and go straight back (see map above).

The new location allows for added staff and expanded hours to better serve patients. Turfland Retail Pharmacy is now open 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday.

All UK Retail Pharmacies are open to everyone – UK faculty and staff, students, UK patients and the general public. UK Retail Pharmacies take most insurance plans and still offer:

·       Easy refill requests using the free RefillPro app, which can be downloaded for iPhone or Android.

·       Curbside delivery on request (curbside hours apply).

·       Mail delivery at no extra cost. Requests made by 1 p.m. are usually mailed the same day.

·       Half off most copays, up to $60, for UK HMO/PPO members who see a UK provider.
