Big Blue Slam Blood Drive Coming to Campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 1, 2010) – The Kentucky Blood Center will host its annual blood drive on the University of Kentucky campus. The blood drive will run March 1-5 at various times and locations around campus.

This year, Kentucky Blood Center celebrates its 40th anniversary of saving lives.  Founded in 1968 as the Central Kentucky Blood Center the recent name change reflects more accurately the scope of the organization, as it collects, tests, processes and ships blood throughout the state.
