Woodland Avenue Bike Lanes Extended

LEXINGTON, Ky, (Sept. 28, 2009) -- UK Parking and Transportation Services (PTS), in conjunction with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, has removed vehicle parking on the west side of Woodland Avenue (William T. Young Library side) from Columbia Avenue to Hilltop Avenue to make way for a new bike lane.

The bike lane is marked with a complete lane stripe and standard bike route symbols. Motorists are restricted from traveling or parking in this bike lane.
