LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 20, 2020) — As University of Kentucky returns to in-session classes, the university continues to field questions related to specific elements of the campus restart plan. Below are a couple of the questions most commonly asked by university faculty and staff.

Q: What testing locations are still available on campus?

A: As of Aug. 19, the university is offering testing at two locations:

  • Drive-thru: The Blue Lot at Kroger Field
  • Walk-up: The area between Boyd Hall and the former Blazer Dining facility

Q: If I get tested on campus, how long will it take for me to receive my results?

A: Results are typically delivered in about 72 hours. If you test negative, you will receive an email notification. If you test positive, you will be contacted via phone by a member of UK Health Corps.

As of Aug. 16, of the 18,921 students tested, Wild Health reported 225 positive cases and a 1.2% positivity rate on campus. To see updated results from student testing, visit: www.uky.edu/coronavirus/covid-19-testing-results.
