LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 30, 2017) — In partnership with University of Kentucky HealthCare administration, UK's Office of LGBTQ* Resources will be highlighting key UK clinical resources related to providing high quality care for patients with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations through an information table.
The information table will be located near the entrance of the main cafeteria in Albert B. Chandler Hospital from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, June 30.
In addition to print materials, the Office of LGBTQ* Resources will be providing free online continuing education opportunities for health care providers and other staff in related professions that focus on creating inclusive clinical spaces.
Participants who engage with at least one online training module as a result of visiting the table will be entered into a drawing for several UK promotional items.
