LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 9, 2026) — Employee intermediate permit holders now have an additional parking option on North Campus. The 305 Euclid Ave. Lot is now open, with 24 employee intermediate parking spaces and one ADA-accessible space.

This lot is the site of the previous UK Police Department headquarters building, located directly across from the King Alumni House, at the corner of Rose Street and Euclid. The lot was expanded, repaved and restriped.

“We’re happy to be able to provide this additional option on north campus,” said Sarah Nikirk, director of UK Transportation Services. “Having these extra spaces will be helpful since there’s a significant number of campus events in that area. This gives employees another convenient choice.”

This latest addition to the parking inventory follows the opening of an ADA-accessible parking lot at 138 Leader Ave., as well as a separate ADA-accessible lot on South Campus.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and healthcare. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $1.02 billion research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
