UK Board of Trustees Elects Officers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2011) — The University of Kentucky Board of Trustees elected its officers today.  Current Board of Trustees Chair Britt Brockman was elected to serve in that capacity again.  Brockman, of Louisville, is managing partner of the John-Kenyon American Eye Institute and is a partner in the Novamed Ambulatory Surgery Center.  He has served on the Board of Trustees since 2008.

The board elected Pamela T. May vice-chair.  She most recently held the board office of secretary.  May, who has served as a UK trustee since 2001, is the founding attorney of the Pam May Law Firm in Pikeville, Ky.

Sandy Bugie Patterson was elected secretary of the board. Patterson, of Fort Thomas, Ky., is a UK alumni representative and has been on the board since 2006. She is president of the Robert W. Bugie Sales Company of Cincinnati.
