UK President Headlines Commerce Lexington Inc. Good Morning Bluegrass Event

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 28, 2011) — University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto will be the featured speaker at Commerce Lexington Inc.'s Good Morning Bluegrass event from 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the Patterson Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Lexington.  The interactive event will be moderated by Alan Lytle, news director at WUKY 91.3 FM, UK's NPR station.

This week Dr. Capilouto unveiled his aggressive plan for rebuilding and renewing UK's campus with a focus on enhancing undergraduate education.  The multi-year plan includes new residence halls, initiatives for honors students and other educational priorities.
