UPDATE: UK Classes Canceled For Monday, Feb. 3

UPDATED MESSAGE:

Classes at the University of Kentucky are canceled today, Monday, Feb. 3, and only Plan B employees are required to report to work.

 
Due to continued snowfall and issues with travel conditions, the University of Kentucky has made the decision to cancel all classes today and close offices.  Plan B employees are required to report to work.

UK HealthCare hospitals and clinics remain open on their regular schedules. 

Dining Services facilities on campus are open.  Visit www.uky.edu/DiningServices/snow for times and locations.

The UK Student Center will remain open until 10 p.m. 

The Johnson Center and other recreation facilities are closed.

William T.Young Library is open but will close at 11 p.m. today.  Library branches are closed except for:

  • Design closing at 1 p.m. but call first 
  • Fine Arts 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 
  • Medical Library closing at midnight for now, but call or check the website for an update.

UK Women's Choir Concert with high school from Alabama scheduled for the Singletary Center tonight (Feb. 3) has been canceled and the Singletary Center offices are closed today.

    

UK officials continuously monitor weather conditions as they develop and change in an effort to ensure safety.
