LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 26, 2015) — University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto has this special message to the UK family on the first day of the 2015-16 academic year:
Dear Colleagues and Students,
Over the last month, our faculty, staff and students have been returning to campus to begin their work for the 2015-16 academic year. As campus grows more vibrant with each passing day, I’m reminded of the transformative experience this place offers to those we serve.
We are fostering a true sense of community at UK, and we share a deep commitment to serving others through outstanding higher education, pioneering research and creative scholarship, impactful service, and sophisticated health care.
As a we begin a new semester, please enjoy the thoughtful words of your colleagues and their dedication to this special place.
