Ale Tasting at Boone Center Aug. 27

The Hilary J. Boone Center at the University of Kentucky is opening its doors to everyone on Thursday, Aug. 27. That’s right, no membership required as we celebrate with an international flair. From 4:30 until 8 p.m. that evening guests will be invited to sample over 60 beers from around the world while also dining on internationally inspired foods that include chipotle rubbed pork tenderloin, polish and Italian sausages, Louisiana butterflies shrimp – and that is just a sample of menu items.

Come celebrate with us and experience the Boone Center for yourself. Cost to attend is just $10/person for Boone Center members and their families; $15/person for non-member UK employees and UK Alumni Association members and $20 for the general public.

Space is limited at this event, so make your reservations today. Call the Boone Center at (859) 257-1133  to purchase your tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $30. No person under the age of 21 will be admitted.

The Hilary J. Boone Center is a private club open to membership for University of Kentucky alumni, faculty, staff, fellows, corporations, UK departments, parents of currently enrolled students, graduate students and friends of the university.  The center is available for seminars, receptions, meetings, wedding functions, luncheons, and other events.

The dining room is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Hilary J. Boone Center also partners with the Singletary Center for the Arts to host “pre-show” events for select performances at the Singletary Center.
