UK Cheerleaders to Compete for 20th National Title

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 17, 2013) — On Sunday, Jan. 20, the University of Kentucky cheerleaders will return to Orlando where they will compete in the Universal Cheerleaders Association College Nationals. The squad has won the title 19 times, and hopes to earn
No. 20 this weekend.
UK Public Relations and Marketing caught up with head coach Jomo K. Thompson and the cheerleaders at a recent practice, and discussed the team's successful history, and what winning No. 20 means to them.
