LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 22, 2019) — Lawyers are regarded as advocates and advisors for society, training and working hard to represent individuals and to promote justice. The College of Law at the University of Kentucky is preparing the next generation of advocates for justice and order in society.

UK Law, which recently announced a $20 million gift from alumnus J. David Rosenberg, is ranked fifth by preLaw magazine as Best Value Law School. It is home to four dual degree programs, 16 clinical and externship opportunities, two law journals and more than 20 student-run organizations.

Educators in the College of Law are preparing graduates to be responsible members and leaders of the legal profession, the Commonwealth and the nation who are dedicated to the highest standards of ethics, excellence and professionalism.

In this Campus Walk, explore the newly renovated and expanded College of Law Building to discover what makes the space so special for students and faculty alike.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
